Teaching Christianity as a Global Faith

The Ofsted RE Report (2024) cited the need to ensure that pupils better understand religious worldviews as living things that are affected by context, culture and place. This course for RE leaders and teachers presents Christianity as a rich, complex and diverse living faith. In this session, you will find out more about the range of ways in which Christians around the world interpret and live out their faith. Practical examples of using the different ‘ways of knowing’ (disciplinary knowledge) to investigate Christian as a global faith will support you to present the lived reality of being Christian to your pupils.
